The Super Bowl was "properly officiated"

Well, of course it was, as the NFL kindly pointed out this week. The statement corroborated with what the fools wearing the stripes did Sunday. The game was totally fair ... if you wore black and gold.

Roy Lang iii is, of course, wrong. Roethlisberger was in. It was only by a sliver, but that's all it takes, AND it was third down. It was a pushoff, even at the slightest, read your physics on objects in motion. It was a hold -- rather blantantly, I might add, regardless of what John "And I did what to get in the Hall of Fame?" Madden says.

Yeah, the Super Bowl was properly officiated the same way that Duke-Florida State basketball game was.

The ACC, unlike the NFL, admitted its officials were wrong. The big difference for FSU coach Leonard Hamilton could be being the Seminoles coach next year or finding a new job.

Maybe the ACC officials can kick in something to his severance package if FSU should fire Hamilton.
