Tired of Arkansas whining?

If you're tired of hearing Arkansas fans whine about how they should have beaten Alabama on Saturday night, say "Amen."

The Hoggies were getting blown out by an unranked team until Alabama's defense laid down and let them back in it. Was that pass interference late in the fourth quarter? Yes. But it doesn't make any difference. Against any real team, the piglets would never have gotten within spitting distance anyway after falling behind 31-10. The fact that they took a late lead tells you how bad the team was that they were playing.

Arkansas can say goodbye to their hopes of a national championship and Darren McFadden can say adios to his Heisman candidacy. Unless the Hogs go undefeated the remainder of the campaign, he doesn't stand a chance.

Just like their embarrassing loss to USC last season, Arkansas keeps giving their fans plenty to whine about.

McFadden adios to his Heisman hopes? Did you see the game? They had more than 300 yards rushing. Obviously most of those went to McFadden.
His Heisman chances were IMPROVED with Saturday's effort, not diminished.

And I forgot ...
A sign of his dominance? Arkansas didn't abandon the run when they went down by 21. Instead, they stepped up McFadden's work load. That would have happened for no other back in the country.
I don't even like Arkansas, but McFadden is a monster.

From MSNBC College Football's Heisman Hopefuls: #1 Darren McFadden

McFadden finished with 195 yards on the ground in 33 carries (5.9 average) and got into the end zone twice in the fourth quarter, the second time tying the game at 31-31.

He suffered a concussion on that drive and was unable to return to the game.

Nonetheless, it was a heroic, Heismanesque effort stopped short only by an unfortunate circumstance.

Although he didn’t leave the field with a win, he did leave as the undisputed best player in the country.

I admittedly don't care for Arkansas, but it doesn't take a genius to see that McFadden is a stud and the best RB in the country. He has no QB, no WRs, a rebuilit OL and still gained 195 versus Bama in Tuscaloosa - very impressive.

I despise Arkansas but McFadden has no QB, no WRs, a rebuilt OL and still gained nearly 200 yards versus "God's Gift to Football" - Nick Saban's defense. McFadden is the best RB in the country.
