In need of a good game
OK, so the Florida-UCLA game got a little better in the second half.
But we really need the Florida-Ohio State game to be a good one on Monday night.
Otherwise, this tournament will be one of the least memorable in years. So far the greatest moment in this tournament didn't win a game, but only sent it into overtime (Ohio State's Ron Lewis shot against Xavier).
Maybe we're putting too much pressure on the tournament to provide unexpected moments. Maybe they'll come on Monday night.
But you'll have two No. 1 seeds playing for the title. The Final Four was two number ones and two number twos.
We're due a classic game.

Ha, I was just coming to post the same thing. This has been the LEAST eventful tourney that I can remember. I just sent a text message to our boy Joel and said the same thing. HOPEFULLY, this is setting up for a classic title game. If not, March Madness was more like March Moroseness.
You know, some years you get classics in the NCAA tournament and other years you get duds.
This just might be, overall, one of those dud years.
But I'll say this: this final is shaping up to be one of the most interesting since UConn faced - and beat - Duke in 1999.
I'm curious to see how Greg Oden, the presumptive No. 1 pick in next year's NBA draft, fares against Florida's lottery-filled front line. I suspect not very well.
And for the record: I picked Florida to win it all from the very beginning.
