Good to hear all of the apologies today to the Florida Gators from the national media.
If they had paid any attention, they would have known Florida had found ways to win all year. This is a team that ended the season with wins over the No. 2 and No. 3 teams in the country with only a road loss to a top-10 team.
Once again, the national media jumped to a premature crowning - just as it did with USC last year and Oklahoma in the 2004 Sugar Bowl.
One day people will learn to judge a team on the whole season and not on just what ESPN tells them.

I think that's why people, like myself, were dismissing Florida for this game because they WERE looking at the whole season.
Despite holding Tennessee to minus-11 yards rushing and outgaining the Vols by 100 yards, the Gators had to come from behind to beat them.
The Gators were outgained by Vanderbilt and had to fend the Commodores off in that one.
UF shot itself in the second half against Auburn.
UF's signature win was beating LSU in Gainesville while Ohio State handled Texas and beat Michigan despite going minus-3 in turnovers.
What was so impressive about the way UF beat teams this season to suggest that the Gators were going to blow the Buckeyes off the field?
Ohio State's biggest scare was to Illinois, but aside from that the Buckeyes throttled every opponent.
