World Baseball Classic
So they're having this World Baseball Classic -- I guess.
So far, it's been easier to keep up with the players who are not playing in the Classic than the ones who are.
And the biggest news has been George Steinbrenner's opposition to this whole mess.
As a Yankees hater, it pains me to say this, but I'm on George's side on this one. Who cares about the World Baseball Classic?

Doomsday must be approaching because Scott and I actually agree on something baseball-related other than hating the Yankees.
First, the timing is awful. No one is going to watch these games up against NCAA basketball conference tournaments.
Secondly, WAY too many marquee names have pulled out. Look at Wednesday when Team USA lost Billy Wagner and C.C. Sabathia ONE DAY before the tournament starts.
What a FREAKING JOKE. Sorry to say it, but I agree with Scott and The Boss. Better check and see if the world is still spinning.
I thought Scott was the boss.

Trying to boost your post count with a bunch of gibberish? First you say the U.S. is going to get bounced, but then you back the "Classic."
Are we supposed to care after the U.S. is out? Or even if they're in? Umm, no.

Wow, Michael Messerly, the one Royals fan left in the free world, is for the WBC.
Could it be because the Royals have no marquee players in the event? Oh wait, the Royals don't have any marquee players period.
