Need my bowl fix

I'm looking at a blank TV screen here in the office. There is no bowl game being played tonight.

What? Thirty-two bowl games and we go a day without a bowl game.

Wait, we have a game on Thursday and at least one a day until Christmas and then pick back up and run all the way to Jan. 5 before an off day.

C'mon. In all seriousness, there are too many bowl games. College football is hampering its own product by watering down the postseason field.

Here is a prediction. In five years, we won't have 32 bowl games. Some of the 32 will be weeded out. If we get down to about 20, we should be able to have both opportunities for teams without an embarrassing product.

I don't understand why people get upset over the number of Bowl of Games. I think people get upset because they think its the expected thing to say. IF you don't like them then don't watch them

I am for the number of Bowl Games we have now. Why? Because I actually get to see some excellent football and realize that the entire World is not the SEC or the big Ten, or even the couple of teams we see from the Pac 10.

Last nights Bowl game was a prime example. Did the Nation have a clue that TCU was not awesome. Well they are 4 hours down the road from me and I have to say no. Thats important. This is one of thos emid majors that because of that game may be ranked fairly high in the top 25 next year.
Yet I expect with 20 games the San Diego would not be one to survice

Interesting match ups, and it also gives valuable practice time to the players. PLus yes its a treat for them and for the fans too. Nothing wrong with that.
